WEF OPENS GRANT OPPORTUNITIES FOR EARLY ACCESS TO SUPPORT COVID19 RESOURCES IN REBOUND AZ

May 15, 2020, Phoenix AZ. Women’s Enterprise Foundation – WEF is pleased to announce in response to the current economic challenges facing so many small local women-owned business we have opened our fall grant application as of May 15 to assist local women-owned business. The WEF mission is to support and inspire such enterprising women with scholarships and grants that enable them to further their education, leadership skills and opportunities to succeed.

Brenda Allen, WEF Board Chair stated, “In the past 3 years WEF has provided over $50,000 in grant support to women-owned businesses in the valley. WEF is proud to have supported over 30 women to elevate their businesses within our Valley of the Sun communities. When women collaborate and support each other monetarily and with education we continue to grow individually and as community leaders.”

The funds that support WEF scholarships, grants and programs are raised, in large part, through our Annual Fundraising Breakfast and monthly events that are attended and generously funded by individuals and organizations committed to providing women with opportunities to fulfill their dream of entrepreneurship.

We offer a variety of sponsorship, donor and volunteer opportunities. In return, we provide visibility for your business and your civic-minded generosity at our events and through our publicity efforts. All applicants are thoroughly vetted through the WEF grant process, our board members mentor and educate women business grant recipients.
